Hold on to your hat and grab your dancing shoes, Rumours of Fleetwood Mac, the most awesome Fleetwood cover band to pop out of the U.K. at the turn of the millennium, is coming to Mountain Winery this October - and we need you to be right here with us! On Sunday October 5th, catch the cover crew right here at Mountain Winery as they take on Fleetwood’s Rumours album for all of our listening pleasure.

Mountain Winery, located in the mountains of Santa Clara and one of California’s Historic Landmarks, is so excited to welcome Rumours of Fleetwood Mac back to the stage for what is becoming a yearly show here at The Winery! And one we are so not complaining about. And for a cover band, these guys stay pretty busy. They have seventy (!) shows planned for this year all across the world - in locations like Berlin, London, Glasgow, Austria, York, and of course, right here in Saratoga. We just might even be their only American show of the year… but that’s just a Rumour, for now at least. But what that means for us is that we absolutely must go.
Fleetwood Mac is no secret. And, if you’re a lover of Pop, Rock, Blues, or Art in general, you can’t deny the influence of Fleetwood Mac on music and popular band culture at large. Formed in 1967 in London by lead singer and guitarist Peter Green, they’ve sold over 120 million records worldwide, and are undoubtedly the most successful Blues band from England, hands down. Maybe you’ve heard some of their more popular tracks - Albatross, Landslide, Rhiannon, Everywhere, Dreams, or anything from their Rumours album in general.
Rumours is the eleventh album by the band, and the one that cemented their everlasting star status in all corners of the world. The album went platinum almost immediately, was given a GRAMMY for Album of The Year in 1978, and has over 4 billion streams on the album alone across all streaming platforms. Impressive to say the least. The album was set out to be a Pop Rock album, and it sure did work - it went number one on Billboard’s charts all across the world at its debut, and of course, has inspired many cover bands and other artists trying to catch the spark they put into the album fifty years ago.
